The good old unscrupulousness Scotsman who is the head of the Guilds morgue:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-goxLWQu3QbE/VfEVvi_gLXI/AAAAAAAAA-U/bg0Cccd6zok/s1600/20150909_225143.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-goxLWQu3QbE/VfEVvi_gLXI/AAAAAAAAA-U/bg0Cccd6zok/s320/20150909_225143.jpg" width="179" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I must say that I quite enjoy the additional blood leaking picket, the mind just, irksomely boggles as to what little tid bits he has plopped into there..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LcjRvBaVRHM/VfEVv3xdVQI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/xRjstV2vjZo/s1600/20150909_225148.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LcjRvBaVRHM/VfEVv3xdVQI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/xRjstV2vjZo/s320/20150909_225148.jpg" width="195" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A slightly more angled shot, where would any crazed mortician without some lovely blood splatter and stains.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next up we have the Fraken-I mean Flesh Construct I believe it is called, we actually have a couple of WiP shots working up to the completed model (sans the base).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gWXj5krBtDQ/VfEV4WlaZ4I/AAAAAAAABAw/W1CFbsajJxc/s1600/IMG_8210.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gWXj5krBtDQ/VfEV4WlaZ4I/AAAAAAAABAw/W1CFbsajJxc/s320/IMG_8210.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
SO we have a good build up of a quite sickly skin tone and the silvers started to be picked out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SK9hGy_hh-A/VfEV5jMiVOI/AAAAAAAABA8/-KaVNU9HSl4/s1600/IMG_8212.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SK9hGy_hh-A/VfEV5jMiVOI/AAAAAAAABA8/-KaVNU9HSl4/s320/IMG_8212.jpg" width="190" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Bit more detail is being filled out here also. It also always gets me how Emma can get the colours to come out nicely with only minimal washes and glazes, where as I practically dip my models into the washes and hope for the best.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HCnWy5nNr60/VfEVu54DGII/AAAAAAAAA98/twu8C4tFGvU/s1600/20150909_225127.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HCnWy5nNr60/VfEVu54DGII/AAAAAAAAA98/twu8C4tFGvU/s320/20150909_225127.jpg" width="195" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And here we have the end result. I apologise for the colouration, I believe the hue may be a bit out, hence the skin having a much more greenish tone than before.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also a shot from behind to show off the additional wires added:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5Nj-rYqBgJY/VfEVvskcxUI/AAAAAAAAA-M/IT-TrBQ59K0/s1600/20150909_225132.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5Nj-rYqBgJY/VfEVvskcxUI/AAAAAAAAA-M/IT-TrBQ59K0/s400/20150909_225132.jpg" width="202" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'll leave it there so one isn't too inundated with the morbid curiosities of McMorning's morgue, next post we should have some pics of some pups and a couple of Nurses. I will also try and get some of my WiPs up that are nowhere near as far along as Emma's.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello all.<br />
<br />
New to Malifaux here, thus, as per most of my whims I've opted to create a blog.<br />
<br />
A few months ago my girlfriend (Emma) opted to pick up some Malifaux nurses (due to her being a nurse) to model and paint up. I thought the models quite nice, but very fine (coming from the GW world, anything actually in scale looks needle thin...) but didn't look into the game.<br />
<br />
Flash forward a few months. Myself and Emma opted to go have a squiz at a newly opened hobby store in our area-ish. It is called <a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheHouseofWar">The House of War</a> and if you are in the Melbourne (Australia) area I would suggest to go have a look. An amazing set up and very helpful fella (Allan) running it, there was also a friendly pooch wandering around hankering for pats, which in my book, is always a bonus.<br />
<br />
Anyway, there was a somewhat large lot of Malifaux stuff in stock, thus grabbing Emma's attention. I also had a look and a few of the more steam-punky/clock work looking fellows which got my hobbiest itch going full steam. We managed to talk Allan (well he talked us into it) having a trial game. I simply watched while he ran Emma through the basics. She was rocking some of those baller Death Marshalls, while Allan was lurching onto the streets with some Undead Belles and the loathsome Madam Sybelle.<br />
<br />
After watching a few rounds, I found the card mechanic amazing, coming from a world of D6's and to a lesser extent D20's, the ability to mitigate a crap draw with a card from your hand is beyond awesome!<br />
<br />
So, 30 minutes later, my self and Emma walked out of the store with a Malifaux Rulebook, 2 starter sets and the 2 RPG sets in hand.<br />
<br />
I opted to pick up Hoffman and his wonderful quintet of clockwork contraptions:<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5gY5iW_RoNc/Ve0hcZK8qaI/AAAAAAAAA8s/TRG4yqLti3E/s1600/C%2BHoffman%2Bcrew%2B-%2BOf%2BMetal%2Band%2BFlesh.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5gY5iW_RoNc/Ve0hcZK8qaI/AAAAAAAAA8s/TRG4yqLti3E/s400/C%2BHoffman%2Bcrew%2B-%2BOf%2BMetal%2Band%2BFlesh.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">All the robots.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I've currently started work on converting the Guardian.<br />
<br />
Emma opted to keep going with the morbid hospital theme (also heavily attributed to the zombie chihuahua) and picked up McMorning and his posse:<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QYZfpIsaHW0/Ve0hcc5JZvI/AAAAAAAAA8o/aO2yWFRMpa4/s1600/WYR20203a__43927.1392254336.1200.1200.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QYZfpIsaHW0/Ve0hcc5JZvI/AAAAAAAAA8o/aO2yWFRMpa4/s400/WYR20203a__43927.1392254336.1200.1200.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Much Nurse, all Chihuahua</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
That is really all for now as we madly model away. I will endeavour to get some WiP's up of my stuff and some completed pictures of the Emma's models (she works oh so very fast) if she lets me.<br />
